The Stateline Bar & Grill Invitational was the first event organized by the Tennessee Poker Championship Series.  It was a resounding success with 174 TPT members showing up to play.  There were three sessions in all, two on Saturday followed by a final session on Sunday where the remaining players battled it out.

Thank you to all players that participated, we hope you all had a great time.  Thanks also to the sponsors and Stateline Bar & Grill that made this whole thing possible.

Tournament Report

Chris Healey took down a monster pot in the final hand of the first session.  His top two pair was beaten on the turn by a flush, but a jack fell on the river giving him a boat and a pot worth $75,400.  He returned on Sunday as chip leader and continued to amass more chips as the day went on.  By the time heads up play began Chris had knocked out a total of ten players and his chip stack now stood at around $800,000.  He finished the tournament when his top pair prevailed.  Chris chose the Atlantic City trip and will be playing at a World Series of Poker Circuit event at Caesars in March.
