Christmas Cash - December 2011

The Christmas Cash tournament created a new record for the Tennessee Poker Tour. For the first time ever a player in the league won his THIRD tournament. Dan Kublawi proved that not only can he own a poker league, but can play some cards too. And as CEO of the TPT he graciously (as he has on each win before) donated all his prize money to the next tournament making the third ever 'rollover' prize pool for our Spring 2012 tournament.

Dan posted the following on our Facebook page, "Ok, so I won the Christmas Cash Winter Championship last night. We had 60 players qualify and 46 that sat down. After a late start due to some technical difficulties, we had a great tourney. The final table lasted until almost 11:00pm! I started out well, then sat short stacked for a few hours after running into Bob Kniegge's quad tens. I was now hoping to double up with a well-timed all-in. I ended up going all in twice in four hands and knocking out two players each time to build up a nice chip stack. There was some great play from Ronnie Wilhoit, Ron Helsabeck, Jason Little, Mike Talley, Andy Bolinger and Wes Gillin, whom I ended up going heads up with. We battled for well over an hour until I spiked a queen on the turn to take down his jacks. Thanks to all who made this a great event. As I have done with my previous prize money, it will be added to the prize pool for the next TPT tournament in March. So there will be an extra $1,000 in the prize pool!"

Thank you to all players that participated, we hope you all had a great time.
Thanks to the staff and management of Fanatics for their support and hard work.
Thanks to the dealers who made this tournament possible.
